While I specialize in elementary grades reading and math, I have tutored a wide range of ages from elementary through high school in various subjects. I teach and tutor children of all ages and walks of life, from Special Needs students to non-English speakers. I teach all aspects of English Language Arts—from Phonics and Word Work to Vocabulary, Comprehension and Central Idea. I believe reading fluently is the key to confident people.
Mathematics
I’ve successfully taught all ages and levels of math, from elementary to high school levels—and I’m officially certified for K-6 mathematics. I make math fun!
Science & Social Studies
I’m passionate about guiding students to become contributing citizens of their communities through social studies. I offer an embodied understanding of the sciences using home projects, simulations, and the body itself to demonstrate how the world moves.
